ChanServ

AGECHECK
Purpose: Users attempting to join the channel must have an age set higher than the current ratting of the channel in order to join.  If the ratting of the channel requires an age higher than the user has then the user will be unable to join.
Usage: /prop #channel agecheck on/off
Example: /prop #Help agecheck on
Replaces: /cs set #channel agecheck on/off

AUTOVOICE
Purpose: All users will be voiced be chanserv when they join if this command is turned on.
Usage: /prop #channel autovoice on/off
Example: /prop #Help autovoice on
Replaces: /cs set #channel autovop on/off

CREATION
Purpose: Shows when the channel was created.  Meaning when the channel was last empty and a some one joined. This is not the same as when it was registered.
Usage: Note Changeable Threw Prop

DESC
Purpose: Changes Channel Description
Usage: /prop #channel desc description
Example: /prop #Help desc Official Help Channel
Replaces: /cs set #channel desc description

FOUNDER
Purpose: Changes Channel Founder
Usage: /prop #channel founder nick
Example: /prop #Help founder Shayne
Replaces: /transfer #channel nick

JOINMUTE
Purpose: Prevents a user from speaking as soon as he/she enters the channel.
Usage: /prop #channel joinmute seconds
Example: /prop #Help joinmute 5
Replaces: N/A

JOINSPERSEC
Purpose: Determines how many users can join the channel in a second
Usage: /prop #channel joinspersec number
Example: /prop #Help joinspersec 5
Replaces: N/A

KEY
Purpose: Set a key users must know before joining.
Usage: /prop #channel key key/off
(off removes the key)
Example: /prop #Help key z0930zmeah3
Example: /prop #Help key off
Replaces: /mode #channel +k key

LANGUAGE
Purpose: Sets the preffered language of the channel.
Usage: /prop #channel language iso code
Example: /prop #Help language en

LASTJOIN
Purpose: Shows the time a user last joined the channel.
Usage: Not Changeable Threw Prop
Example: N/A
Replaces: N/A

LIMIT
Purpose: Changes Channel Limit
Usage: /prop #channel limit number/off
Example: /prop #Help 30
Replaces: /mode #channel +l number

MEMOLEVEL
Purpose:
Usage: /prop #channel memolevel uop/vop/aop/sop/mgr
Example: /prop #Help memolevel uop
Replaces: /cs set #channel memolevel uop/vop/aop/sop/mgr

MODELOCK
Purpose: Change mlock
Usage: /prop #channel modelock modes
Example: /prop #Help modelock +nrt-z
Replaces: /cs set #channel mlock modes

OPGUARD
Purpose: Only aops and above may be oped (+o)
Usage: /prop #channel opguard on/off
Example: /prop #Help opguard on
Replaces: /cs set #channel opguard on/off

PEAKUSERS
Purpose: Only Shows the most amount of users in the channel at once since it was created.
Usage: Not Changeable Threw Prop
Example: N/A
Replaces: N/A

POLICY
Purpose: Allows people to add themselves to the uop list.
Usage: /prop #channel policy open/closed or normal
Example: /prop #Help policy open
Replaces: /cs set #channel policy open/closed

RATING
Purpose: Specifies the content rating of a channel.
Usage: /prop #channel rating G/PG/MA L/V/S
(LVS are optional)
Example: /prop #Help rating G L
Replaces: N/A

REJOINTRACK
Purpose: A user must wait for so many seconds before rejoining.
Usage: /prop #channel rejointrack seconds
Example: /prop #Help rejointrack 5
Replaces: N/A

RESTRICT
Purpose: Allows only access members to join the channel.
Usage: /prop #channel restrict on/off
Example: /prop #Help restrict on
Replaces: /cs set #channel restrict on/off

THEME
Purpose: Specifies the theme for java clients.
Usage: /prop #channel theme your theme
Example: /prop #channel theme

TOPIC
Purpose: Changes Channel Topic
Usage: /prop #channel topic your topic
Example: /prop #Help topic Welcome to #Help
Replaces: /topic #channel topic

TOPICBY
Purpose: Shows who last changed the topic.
Usage: Not Changeable Threw Prop
Example: N/A
Replaces: N/A

TOPICLOCK
Purpose:  Specific channel access or above is needed to change the topic.
Usage: /prop #channel topiclock aop/sop/mgr or founder
Example: /prop #Help topiclock sop
Replaces: /cs set #channel topiclock aop/sop/ mgr or founder

TOPICTIME
Purpose:  Shows the time the topic was last changed.
Usage: Not Changeable Threw Prop
Example: N/A
Replaces: N/A

TYPE
Purpose:  Shows if the channel is registered or not.
Usage: Not Changeable Threw Prop
Example: N/A
Replaces: N/A

URL
Purpose: Changes the url of a channel.
Usage: /prop #channel url your url
Example: /prop #Help url http://www.unitedchat.net/
Replaces: /cs set #channel url your url

USERMSGSPERSEC
Purpose: Users may only type so many msgs per second.
Usage: /prop #channel usermsgspersec seconds
Example: /prop #Help usermsgspersec 2
Replaces: N/A

USERSPERIP
Purpose: Limits how many users per 1 ip may join the channel.
Usage: /prop #channel usersperip number
Example: /prop #Help usersperip 3

Server Side Commands Explained
A) Server Side Commands for Nicks

 

ACCESS
Purpose: Lists all the channel access you have
Usage: /access
Usage: /access nick
Example: /access
Example: /access zetty
Replaces: /ns listchans and /cs why #channel nick
*You must be identified to the nick in order to check it’s access list.

ATTACH
Purpose: Used to register a nick
Usage: /attach password email address
Example: /attach lkfl343092klvzm zetty@unitedchat.net
Replaces: /ns register password email and /cs attach #channel description

AUTH
Purpose: Shows pending channel access or buddy addition requests for your nick.
Usage: /auth accept/approve number
Usage: /auth decline/reject number
Usage: /list
Usage: /auth read/view
Example: /auth accept 1
Example: /auth decline 1
Example /auth list
Example: /auth read 1
Replaces: /ns auth /cs auth #channel
* Accept and approve have the same function.
*Read and view have the same function.
* Decline and reject have the same function.

BUDDY
Purpose: Used to add, delete and list your buddies.
Usage: /buddy add/delete/list nick
Example /buddy add zetty
Replaces: /ns buddy

DETACH
Purpose: Drops your nick making it no longer registered
Usage: /detach nick
Example: /detach zetty
Replaces: /ns drop nick and /cs drop #channel
*You must verify this request.

IDENTIFY
Purpose: This will identify to your nick/luid.
Usage: /IDENTIFY nick/luid password
Example /identify zetty password
Replaces: /ns identify nick password

INFO
Purpose: Shows information about a nick
Usage: /info nick
Example /info zetty
Replaces: /ns info nick and /cs info #channel

NICK
Purpose: This will work like sidentify. Your nick will change to your nickname and be identified to it at the same time. It will also over ride erroneous nick name error.
Usage: /nick nick password
Example: /nick zetty password
Replaces: /ns sidentify nick pass

SILENCE
Purpose: Blocks private message from a user.
Usage: /silence
Usage: /silence nick/mask
Usage: /silence –nick/mask
Example: /silence zetty
Example: /silence –*!*@*.aol.com
Replaces: Already existed
*The – will remove an entry. Typing /silence by itself will show you the list.

B) Server Side Commands for Channels

ACCESS
Purpose: Shows what access a person has in a channel
Usage: /access nick #channel
Example: /access zetty #Help
Replaces: /ns listchans, /cs why #channel nick, /cs acc #channel nick
*You must have access in the channel to use it

ACL
Purpose: Used to add or remove people to channel access list
Usage: /acl #channel level add/del/list/wipe/disable/enable nick
Example: /acl #Help aop add zetty
Example: /acl #Help vop list
Replaces: /cs uop /cs vop /cs aop /cs sop /cs mgr
*Disable will not delete the access but will prevent them from having the privileges of the access. In other words they can not longer op themselves etc. Enable will return it to normal.

AKICK
Purpose: Used to add del or remove akicks. Any user that joins will automatically be kicked if they match the akick mask
Usage /akick #channel add mask reason
Usage /akick #channel del mask
Usage: /akick #channel list/wipe
Example: /akick #Help add *!*@*.aol.com Flooders not welcome
Example /akick #Help list
Replaces: /cs akick #channel add/del/list/wipe
* mask is in format nick!identd@ip

ATTACH
Purpose: Used to register a channel
Usage: /attach #channel description
Example: /attach #Help Official Help Channel
Replaces: /ns register password email and /cs attach #channel description

AUTH
Purpose: Shows pending channel access requests for the channel
Usage: /auth #channel list/del/wipe
Example: /auth #Help list
Replaces: /ns auth and /cs auth #channel

DETACH
Purpose: Drops your channel making it no longer registered
Usage: /detach #channel
Example: /detach #Help
Replaces: /ns drop nick and /cs drop #channel

INFO
Purpose: Shows information about a channel
Usage: /info #channel
Example /info #Help
Replaces: /ns info nick and /cs info #channel

INVITE
Purpose: Allows you to invite yourself into channels you have access to, or invite some one else into a channel.
Usage: /invite #channel
Usage: /invite nick #channel
Example: /invite #Help
Example: /invite zetty #Help
Replaces: /cs invite #channel

SETPASS
Purpose: Changes Nick Password
Usage: /setpass oldpassword newpassword
Example: /setpass blackDog342 Ldk343fDkl365t
Replaces: /ns set passwd your password
Replaces: /uprop password your password

TRANSFER
Purpose: Gives the channel to some one else and makes them the new founder
Usage: /transfer #channel nick
Example /transfer #Help zetty
Replaces: /cs set #channel founder nick
 

* A memo will be set to the nick name given, and if they want the channel they must copy and paste the code in the memo. To cancel the change of founder ship simply change it back to your own nickname, as long as they have not entered in the code already.
o/v/u
 

Purpose: Allows you to +/- o, v, or u yourself.
Usage /mode #channel +/- o/v/u nick
Example: /mode #Help +o zetty
Replaces: /cs op #channel /cs voice #channel
*You can devoice or –u yourself, but you can not yet +o or +v yourself
